Welcome to the Institutional Accounting, Reporting & Analysis (IARA) Team

The IARA Team is committed to providing excellent customer service to the WVU Board of Governors, senior administration, students, faculty and staff, by ensuring the integrity of financial data and by efficiently operating the financial reporting and analysis function that is necessary for the continued success of the University.

The core activities of the IARA Team:

Maintaining the chart of accounts for the University.

Maintaining the MAP General Ledger.

Preparing interim and annual audited financial statements for WVU, WVU Research Corporation and WVU at Parkersburg (WVUP).

Managing the University’s, the Research Corporation’s and WVUP’s annual financial statement audit.

Providing accounting for construction projects, equipment and other capital transactions.

Providing technical accounting resources and decision support to the EBOs, central and senior administration and regional campus.
